Whirlwind Weekend

Wow! What a weekend! My trip to Washington, D.C. was wonderful! My brother picked my sisters and me up at the Baltimore airport and we drove to his home in the heart of D.C. That evening we went out for cocktails, and then dinner at a Mexican restaurant where our food was outstanding. When we returned to his home, we did the traditional cake/Happy Birthday thing and my sister opened some gifts we'd brought with us. Well, inside my brother's birthday card were tickets. And boy howdy, do I mean tickets: tickets to "Wicked" in NY City AND roundtrip train tickets to get there. And they weren't just for my sister, but for ALL of us!! Plus, he'd arranged for us to stay overnight at the Hilton. Needless to say, we were overwhelmed. And needless to say, we had a REALLY GOOD time!
