Okay, so I was just reading my niece's blog and contemplating starting my own on the evils of aging and thought, "Why not see how hard this is to do?", since I'm definitely not computer savy. And WahLah! Here I am. So I may as well get started:
I used to be really good at spelling. But lately, I find myself questioning numerous words, and will often just choose another word rather than look it up in a dictionary. I shouldn't have to look it up, damn it! I once KNEW how to spell it! I have a teaching degree! I should know these things! What the heck happened? And then reality sets in. What happened is I turned 50. I'm 54 to be exact. And now I have all kinds of memory issues (not to mention numerous OTHER issues). But for today, we'll just start with spelling. I don't want to overwhelm anyone. And since I've not yet invited anyone to see this blog, that's probably not a problem.
